The KKK Took My Baby Away
I love the guys in Ramones and this track is a classic: The KKK Took My Baby Away. What’s adding to the song is that Joey was toghether with a woman, who Johnny later stole from him and married. Joey never got over this, and hence wrote the song. It’s not hard to understand why the two had a rather tense relationship. Imagine the two performing the song together.

Les Savy Fav - Live Album
I went to a festival at Randall’s Island in NYC last fall and saw Wild Light, Blond Readhead, Les Savy Fav, LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire. I doubt I will ever go to a festival again with a better line-up. However, one might hope. Anyway, In The Crowd has a new post up on the first-ever Les Savy Fav live album. A must read defintely a great album.
