Been spending some time lately researching various solutions for doing web development on the iPad. Especially Ruby on Rails stuff. It seems like it will be a pretty constrained experience, but on the other hand there’s something about the clarity and lack of cognitive overhead that makes it very tempting to try out. At least on some occasions. The least feasible aspect of it so far has been needing to drag around an external keyboard. That seems to have changed now. The Kickstarter funded keyboard in the video above looks awesome.
