Indie/Folk/Electronica. And with the first notes and beautiful vocals of “You Me and the Bourgeoisie” I am pleased. It sounds like the girl from The Cardigans is fronting this band, it’s like a “Love Fool” doppleganger for 2008. The pop is light and fun, but the echo-y vocals give it some depth that some of the twee stuff doesn’t have as far as I’m concerned. Very good.
I’m a Cardigans fan and I have to agree there are similarities to Nina Persson, which is a really good thing in my opinion.
