100 Books - How’s It going? - Pretty Bad
When I discovered in early 2008 that George Bush reads 100 books a year I decided that I should be able to do the same. So one of my goals for 2008 is to read 100 books. Well, it’s June and so far I have finished three books…
I just finished the third book on the plane today, which I got from a friend of mine last week, Inspired. It’s a collection of interviews with creative Europeans exploring their work methods, which I found quite interesting since I’m more or less clueless when it comes to this industry. Apparently most of them are inspired by everyday life, they keep hughe collections of pretty impressive scrapbooks, read a bunch of magazines, collect all kind of stuff and have awesome offices. And, as I kind of knew, being creative seems to be pretty darn hard work.
I’m not really sure if it qualifies as a “real” book, but whatever. 100 books is quite a bit. At least for me. 97 to go!
