Hacking Education
After reading the post on Fred Wilson’s blog about hacking education a while a go I have been thinking a lot about scaling education and the implications of it. When someone figures out how to make education available to everyone and makes the learning process more efficient than it is today it is going to have tremendous implications for how the world will develop. In the future, when people read about this period in time they will compare it to the industrial revolutions and see it as the start of a completely new era. And, the education part is what really will accelrate the development and change the world to a more equal and better place for most people.
So if you are looking for an ambitious project and want to change how the world is working, look no further. Once the sum of all incremental efforts in this area starts to work other problems will begin to be solved as well at a very high speed. This is the fundamental approach to curing HIV, cancer, world peace and unimaginable space exploration.
